Can the New European Copyright Directive save Newsmedia?

The new DSM Directive (Directive on the Digital Single Market) has just been published recenly. Among its most debated parts are the provisions dealing with the new related right to be provided to publishers of press publications.

A workshop co-organised by the Institute of Information Society and Médiapiac focused on this part of the newly formulated European text. The workshop was opened by Bernát Török, Director of the Institution and followed by a roundtable during which Péter Nádori (moderator) and Péter Lábody (speaker) both researchers of IIS also participated.
