Participation of IIS on the Pestext 2019 Borders and Bridges International Literature Festival

The Pestext 2019 Borders and Bridges Festival took place between the 24th and 28th of September in Budapest at three different locations (Petőfi Museum of Literature, Lumen Cafe and A38 Buat Club Budapest). The name „Borders and Bridges” of this muticolored Festival refers to the international nature of the event: while it predominantely dealt with the literature of the Visegrad countries (Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary) it also extended its focus onto those famous Hungarian writers and translators who work abroad.

The event also gave home to a copyright related conference with the title: The Copyright of Literature. Peter Labody, researcher of the Institute of Information Society and Director at the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office provided a presentation here about the new Regime of the use Out of Commerce Works, as outlined in the Directive on the Digital Single Market.
