Human information literacy of artificial intelligence - workshop

As part of the UNESCO Global Media and Information Literacy Week 2023 program series, the Institute of the Information Society at the University of Public Service is organizing a professional workshop. The theme of the event will be addressing the challenge of media and information literacy from a societal perspective in the context of the rapidly expanding artificial intelligence-based services.

Information literacy is a critical skill in the information society.
In our presentations, we will explore whether AI is changing the traditional five levels of information literacy and how it is transforming each of its elements. After a keynote speech, a professional debate will take place with the help of invited speakers, with the aim of developing knowledge, skills and approaches that can be used by society by combining the possibilities of social science and regulation.

The aim of the professional dialogue is to explore the issue from several angles, and as a result of the workshop we will develop a social message and recommendations to be made available to the general public.

The workshop is open to the public and all are welcome as active participants and spectators.
