On the 1st of July Hungary took over the rotating Presidency of the Council of the EU. The Hungarian Presidency has a strong commitment to focus on the implementation of all those legislative instruments that have been adopted in the digital policy field, including the AI Act. This event titled „Fundamental rights in the age of AI – fundamental rights impact assessment in the Artificial Intelligence Act and beyond” will be co-organized by the Presidency and the Institute of the Information Society of the Ludovika University of Public Service aims to discuss and explore the multifaceted impact of AI on fundamental rights, as well as the necessity and methodology of a fundamental rights impact assessment for high-risk AI. By bringing together policymakers, regulatory authorities and key players of the industry, our ultimate goal is to build bridges and foster dialogue while paving the way for the EU and its Member States.
The conference is free to attend but registration is required.
