For the fourth time, the Hungarian Lawyers Association and the Constitutional Court organised the Hungarian Law Book Salon in the impressive Károlyi-Csekonics Palace, modelled on the French model. The Book Salon is not only a showcase for 18 publishers and hundreds of legal books, but also a social event and meeting place for the legal profession. Four prizes are awarded each year: the best theoretical and practical textbook, the best PhD dissertation and the public prize.
This year Zsolt Ződi won the prize for the best theoretical law textbook with his work Platform law - theories and rules in force (Platformjog - elméletek és hatályos szabályok), published by Ludovika University Press. In his speech, Attila Badó, professor of the University of Szeged, member of the judging committee, emphasized not only the topicality and theoretical value of the book, but also its readability and the careful, beautiful publishing work. In addition to the author, Ildikó Loványi-Petró, Head of Ludovika University Press, received the award on behalf of the publisher from Tamás Sulyok, President of the Republic, Imre Juhász, President of the Constitutional Court and László Trócsányi, President of the Hungarian Lawyers Association.
