With Alina Kirillina at the Hungarian National Commission for UNESCO

On May 15, 2026, the day following the workshop titled Digital Skills and Critical Platform Use in the genAI Era, the Hungarian National Commission for UNESCO (UMNB) welcomed Alina Kirillina, an education specialist with UNESCO’s Future of Learning and Innovation Team.

During the meeting, Kirillina provided a detailed overview of the work of the UNESCO Education Sector and the Future of Learning and Innovation Team, specifically drawing the Hungarian National Commission’s attention to the Gateways to Public Digital Learning initiative and the possibility of Hungary joining it. The UNESCO expert commended related Hungarian activities, including the intensive collaboration established with the UNESCO Chair on Digital Platforms for Learning Societies.

The meeting was attended by Viktória Pálóczi-Horváth, Deputy Secretary-General of the UMNB; András Báló, UMNB member responsible for higher education; Zsolt Ződi, UMNB member and research professor at the Institute of the Information Society (IIS); and Bernát Török, head of IIS and the UNESCO Chair.
